With help from Torres, Daniel finds important information about Carax's past. He of course, begins to follow this information which leads him to Dona Aurora. During his visit with Dona Aurora, Daniel is taken to an abandoned building that was once Carax's childhood home and looked as though it had been recently visited. When Daniel arrives to Carax's room, he finds it is locked. However, this doesnt stop him from entering. While inside, Daniel is surprised to find numerous crucifixes and photos in his room. Before leaving the room, Daniel takes a letter written to Daniel from a woman named Penelope.

well..i doubt that Penelope has something to do with Carax's disappearance..from the descriptions given..i would say that Carax was a bit "weird"..so there would be nothing to be surprised about..I seriously think that Coulbert is the one visiting the abandoned home..and the possibilty that Coulbert might Carax, or someone affiliated with him could exist..
i don't think Penelope has something to do with carax's disappearance, but i do believe she's the reason why he left Barcelona in the first place.
